My name is Nana. I was named the Lenore G. Tawney Foundation ArtTable Diversity Fellow to join the Museum of the City of New York during the summer of 2018 to work in the Costumes and Textiles Department and the Theater Collection.
This website contains my journal of my experience, findings, and thoughts that came up during my term at the Museum. Some are all about the work itself, others are deep analysis of collection items at the Museum that caught my eye. All of the journal entries are related to at least one of the following topics: costumes, diversity, and/or the Museum of the City of New York.
Please click "Journal" from the top menu to read these articles. I've also written more official stories for the Museum's website. The links to these stories will be added to the "Links" navigation above when they become available.
Hope you enjoy reading them, and I hope that this record helps others in one way or another.
