Nana N Yoshida
Nana graduated from Baruch College with a Master of Arts degree in Arts Administration ('17). She also holds a certificate in Costume Design and Wardrobe Technician from the Fashion Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College with a minor in Sociology ('09).
As of 2018, Nana is currently working on a photography book tentatively titled, "Designing in Brooklyn: 20 Years of Fads, Fashion, and Social Change, 1997–2017." It will contain daily clothes that she has made in the past 20 years that reflect social and socioeconomic changes in the neighborhoods in Brooklyn where she has lived for the past two decades. The book will contain about 32,000 words, 500 photographs, drawings, and timelines. It will be a book on contemporary fashion and social history solely based on her memories and diaries. |
